Sadly, it's iPad/iPhone and Android only. Muggins bought a Windows phone. :(

If anyone other than Rose is making their own way to Euston Station, the most likely place where those travelling from East Croydon will end up is the Caffe Ritazza which is on the Euston Station concourse. If anyone needs my mobile phone number in case they need to make contact on the day, drop me a PM.

I purchased the show guide, which I will probably find more convenient on the day than an app.

Well, you might the opportunity to get shots like this, taken between the station and show a couple of years ago.

For some reason, I have never submitted it into competition. ;)

Seriously, there is the Live Stage, which which could offer some opportunities and I believe that some companies such as Olympus are putting on shoots. I am simply operating on the principle that you never know when you could want to take a shot, so it's best to have a camera. Admittedly, I will be taking my m43 gear, which is more luggable than my DSLR, but still gives excellent results. If you are thinking about some new kit such as a lens, perhaps taking advantage of a show offer, you can also try it out on your own camera before committing to a purchase. I would be taking a bag anyway, so it might just as well be one into which I can put a camera.

Another good day out at The Photography Show. There were lots of offers and, as usual, money was spent. Maybe a five figure target for our group of seven was on the optimistic side, but total expenditure was well into four figures, with Canon being the main beneficiary. Amazingly, one person returned from Birmingham without any additional kit. :o

Thanks to the two Daves, Rose, Simon,Wally and Patrick (Simon's son-in-law) for their company on the day.

If anyone took any photos they would like to share, feel free to post them here.
Regards

I enjoyed the trip - it was a long day and I slept well last night, aided by the satisfaction that I came away having bought what I went for - and nothing else ! ;) :D
