The dangers of sun overexposure.

Except it isn't really. I was reading a magazine where a guy was faking the look you get from ultraviolet cameras that highlight skin damage. He used them to highlight racial prejudices in South Africa, I did it to see what I looked like and to experiment with the technique

I walk past this each day and have never really thought it was good architectural fodder but your keen eye has really captured a great image...again!

Quite a distinctive building but covered in building works it was hard to get a decent shot! So I went for the super-geometric approach

Stuff like this should probably not grow outside of a Brazilian rainforest so seeing it in my garden was quite a surprise.

I know it's just another flower but I couldn't resist this one No idea what type of orchid it is but it was great trying to find an inventive shot of it.

I'd had grand plans to do some really long exposure shots of groynes going into the sea but one look at how choppy it was and knew I'd be liable to get soaked (and more worryingly soak the camera!).

Still, I was lucky enough to spot this brave guy and catch him mid-jump!

I've had this rose in the freezer since January

Though it didn't turn out the way I expected it was still "cool" seeing how it turned out
