Quite a selection you have here, with a bit of luck we might see some in competitions next year. Glad you all had a good time.

Re: Suggested Outing - Faversham (17 May)
As I mentioned in my notes for participants on the outing, Paul Mitchell had mentioned the boatyard as a good location to create abstract images when he presented at the club 2-3 years ago. There is a lot of disrepair and decay which yield a variety of colours and textures. I spent some time looking for suitable subjects and am now working out how best to process the results. Here is one example from my initial experimentation.

Nice shot Mike. I'd initially thought it resembled an aerial drone shot straight down across a grass moor along a coast
Paul Mitchell is returning to the club next season as well!

Thanks, Paul. Assuming that I get to it, my shot of the month for May will be another of the boatyard abstracts and has a provisional title of "Moonrise". Possibly in keeping with the "landscape" theme you have observed?
It will be good to see another of Paul's talks. Is he coming to the club or will he be presenting via Zoom?
