If you receive an email from Wally please delete someone has got hold of his address book and is attempting to obtain money from his contacts. Please be more aware of potential scams during this time of lock down, while we are focused on preventing the spread of the virus, sadly there are those in society who see it as an opportunity to exploit others!

I sent out an e-mail earlier to all members about this. Wally is aware of this incident and it appears that somone has hacked his e-mail account. He is trying to resolve the problem as I write. Anyone who responded to the first e-mail received by return a request to purchase an Amazon card for him from a local shop. Hopeully, it goes wihout saying that no one should attempt to do this, even if they could find somewhere which is open. There were no suspicious links or demands for money, so the motive is unclear other than possibly being a prank or an attempt to harvest active e-mail addresses. If it is the latter, people should follow Frank's advice and be very cautious of e-mails from someone they do not know, especially during the next few days.

Sorry people I have changed my password but do not know how effective that is going to be. I have tried ringing or emailing BT but can get no answers from them.
