APOY 2018 - Final Result

In its last issue of the year, on sale now, Amateur Photographer magazine has announced the result of its Amateur Photographer of the Year competition. It is held over eight rounds, each seeking images of a different topic or genre. This year has been the first time I have entered every round and I achieved a top ten finish, ending up 9th= overall.

Thanks, Tina. I did do a blog post after the first round, intending to follow up with posts for each round. Something I did not quite achieve. If I get time, I will do a post summarising my experience. While they might not look it, writing articles for the blog is surprisingly demanding when it comes to the effort involved.

To set expectations, I did not have an image published in the final round. All you will see is my name in the results. That said, the Xmas edition covers two weeks and there is a lot of worthwhile content.
