Croydon Photowalk

On 7th November the first of the club night Photo Challenges will take place. The theme of this night is "Home". In addition, I'm sure you are also aware that we are currently looking for images of Croydon that we could use as cover photos for our soon-to-be-arriving Facebook page. The deadline for the Facebook page photos is 31st October.

As Croydon is the home to our club, and the place where many of us work and/or call home, this seems like a great excuse to organise a photowalk around Croydon, to allow people to take some shots that might be suitable for either the "Home" challenge, the Facebook page, or both! I'd like to go soon enough to give people time to get their images sorted before the two deadlines.

The best date would be Saturday 27th October. We would meet up around 10am, take a look at some of the street art, the market/Surrey Street, North End, or anywhere that takes our fancy. We would finish off with a cup of something hot - most likely at the Clocktower cafe, or the Costa in Debenhams at around 12.30 or 1. Any suggestions welcomed.

I now have another event to get to for 3pm in London, so I think we will need to start at 10. Maybe you could join us part-way along the route if 10 is too early for you?
