Which one do you like better, I'm not sure.
Canon EOS 5D
1/60s f/8.0 at 100.0mm iso400
And another one...
Re: And another one...
I prefer this, probably because of the additional interest in the form of the water/dew on the leaves. Gives me more to look at once I've taken in the flowers.
Re: And another one...
Thanks for the feedback David. I think the colour turned out better on this one, but I prefer the composition of the other one.

Re: And another one...
Hi Nina
A good subject, but I found the image a bit busy. The problem seems to be that the flowers/buds and the leaves are all at similar levels of brightness, so the eye does not know where to settle. I cropped a bit tighter to concentrate the attention on the pleasing diagonal formed by the flowers and darkened the leaves to make them less distracting. I also removed the triangular leaf which was haning down from top left, which was suspended in mid air with no obvious attachment to the rest of the image. As part of the main subject, I would have liked to see the buds on the right in focus as well, as it does not seem right that they are blurred but the leaf is sharp.
