High over the River

Hi Guys

Just thought I'd post an image captured with my Panasonic LX5 whilst traversing the Thames on the new cable car line. Bit of a reflection off the Perspex otherwise quite acceptable I think.

Colours & saturation have come out nicely I think. The reflection could be removed fairly easily I think.

Promising viewpoint though, I was tempted to check out the cable car before this - and this has only encouraged me more

I agree with Dave about the colours and saturation - you picked a good time of day for the light. You probably could not do much about it, but a separation between the top of the dome and the buildings in the background would have helped as that part of the image is quite muddled. Also, the dome is very close to the edge of the frame at bottom right and allowing it a bit more space would have improved matters.

Thanks David. Whilst the viewpoint is interesting it does not offer much a serious photographer.

Thanks for the feedback Mike. As I said to David it is difficult to catch anything worthwhile in the time and space available from the moving vehicle. I am quite pleased with the result in these circumstances.
