Can anyone recommend a software to stitch together panorama images. The one I used was a free download but it lost so much detail and sharpness that I am not happy with the result. I don't know if this is the particular software or just the nature of the beast with panorama.
Advice appreciated.

Re: panorama software
Hi Sam
PTgui gets a good press, although I never used it myself. There is a trial version you can try out. I have had good results with the stitching function in Photoshop CS/CC and I would expect Photoshop Elements to perform similarly.

Re: panorama software
If you have a Canon camera the supplied software comes with Photostitch. Ive used this a few times and its quite good.
Ive used pano software Hugin for "little planet" images but its main draw is panoramics, plus its free - http://hugin.sourceforge.net/
I used Autostitch many years ago but cant remember if its any good, another freebie - http://www.cs.bath.ac.uk/brown/autostit ... titch.html
And finally if you have Photoshop it also has a built-in tool.

Thanks both. I will give hugin a try as its free and seems to have good reviews.

What were you using, as a matter of interest? Do let us know how you get on with Hugin.
