Seen something similar to this on another photography site ages and ages ago, always wondered how the person did it and I wanted to try it out. Not exactly the same, I added my own interpretation, but it was very easy to do

#254 - All The Small Things
These are my wife's jewels.
Some of them, anyway

#255 - Lines
I created this by dropping black plastic straws onto white board and taking the result - I considered redoing the whole thing if I didn't like the pattern but decided that whatever came out I'd take.

#256 - Go & Stop
An utterly miserable, pissing it down day in South London. Still, walking across this footbridge I couldn't ignore this scene

Most days I try to take a picture of something, even if it's just a chronicle of what I was doing that day, so I have something to fall back on for the 365. Rarely have I wanted or needed to use it as the actual shot... today was one of those days though.

In the 14 September edition of your favourite weekly photography magazine, in his Final Frame column Roger Hicks was talking about the futility of going out on spec to take photographs and it is better to let them come to you as inspiration strikes. This is one of the drawbacks of a 365, when you are forced to be proactive, even if time and opportunity are against you.
Re: David's Project 365
Having said that, having the impetus and incentive of the 365 means I am always looking for (and usually equipped to capture) those moments of inspiration
In this case, I get to look back and remember a surprisingly good coffee from Costa and realise that it came with a free eyelash right in the centre of the foam.
