Added 5 pics, 157 being the earliest but it sucks so kindly ignore
Page 42 onwards have a couple of updates and I intend to get up to date - bar Celebration themed images - tonight.
David's Project 365
#178 - Warpaint
"I go to war dressed in the blood of my enemies"
Didn't come out 100% how I'd imagined but it was quite entertaining mucking about with food-coloured cornflour mixture

#179 - I'm Shy
I'd realised I'd been neglecting Danbo so here he is again showing his more tender side
Strobist - YN560II right @ 1/64 power about 10cm away, YN560II behind on 1/128 power to illuminate the bokehlicious table mat

Re: David's Project 365
Another half dozen or so images added over the last couple of pages. Only have three or four more to process and upload, including my photo24 project ones, and I'm back up to date.
Re: David's Project 365
Like the rainbow slinky as well David, though I'd probably crop a bit of the right to get rid of the dark corner.

Re: #164 - Spray
Very original! Just goes to show there must be lots of items around everyones home that can be used as potential subjects. I actually like the motion blur and theres enough static bits also.
davidc wrote:I wanted to use flash to freeze the action of this spray but found it to be surprisingly difficult! Even on the lowest power there was still an awful lot of motion blur!
Might come back and try this again after rethinking my approach but it's still a reasonably interesting shot.

Re: #178 - Warpaint
Well executed and you've kept enough details in your right eye also. Did you try any shots with a battlecry expression?
I could see the potential in using great quotes from history as a photo series...

Re: David's Project 365
Haha no battlecry, I found if I moved my face the cornflour was even more liable to go everywhere
I've had vague plans to take famous quotes, lines from films and maybe even scenes and reimagine them somehow - so far it's just the reimagining that's been tricky
I did try a version of the warpaint shot postprocessed to look like something out of "300" though -
THIS IS SPARTA!

I like the way that with all your selfies, each one is more intimidating than the last.
You have your work cut out to top this last one ......
