A miserable day in London and I made the rookie error of taking my camera out without checking the battery beforehand. In the end there wasn't much to see out there but this guy sat still long enough for me to get a clear shot.
Really missing my 10-22mm and it's only been a couple of days!

#83 - Faerie Jars
An early birthday present from my mam was a selection of glowsticks! By cutting the ends of and blowing/shaking the luminous fluid into jars it generated these lovely patterns.
Love the idea and I'll be doing it again sometime I think, I have plans for more shots using luminous paint.
It was also pretty cool watch the fluid spatter all over the kitchen worktop when cutting the ends off

Incidentally it's one of the few pics I've put up that even my mother can't look at

Day 84 and not much time for photography. Still in a few days you'll be getting lots more interesting pics as I'm off on holiday

#85 - Waiting for Spring
Today was very nearly a disaster... I knew I'd be out tonight and would likely not be home until after midnight (and/or not in a "photography state" if you get my meaning!) so I prepared for a spot of sub-zero shooting at lunchtime.
I got all the way to my location before realising there was no memory card in the camera!
Still, in a stroke of luck, I had received a special screwdriver this morning that had let me fix the camera on my phone - meaning for the first time in over a year I can use it - and it came to the rescue! I'm still surprised by how good the image quality is on a phone Bit of a photographer's image I think but it's not doing badly online.

I am not sure that I will ever be able to look at you the same way again.

If it helps I've taken the tape off...

Another great idea again, love the fact you didnt just put the sticks in the jar. If you are not familiar with the "Will it Blend" website then this semi-relevant link will hopfeully amuse you - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l69Vi5IDc0g

Very funny shot, I think your lighting is great. Strong enough to see both sides of your face in great detail. Must have been painful to unravel after
