Swan

Postby Ronald Barker » Sat 30 Jan 2021, 15:09

Went to Norwood Lakes after Wednesday meeting, found this Swan and not much else. Following advise have coped in tight to get rid of the bits and pieces surrounding it. Does it need more cropping?

Hi Ron

Thanks for sharing. It is good to see that you are getting out and about with your camera. In response to your question, depending on what was in the original capture, I would say that the shot would work better with the inclusion of some elements. If it was there and not too distorted, maybe have all of the swan's reflection and give it a bit more space on the left to swim into. For me, the main subject seems just a little too centrally placed.
