Stunning colours on Oxford Street while Christmas shopping. This is essentially untouched & SOOC.

Paul did one of these a little while ago and prompted/reminded me about my plan. This is a composite of 63 HDR shots from atop Monument (so 63x3 = 189 shots in total). In total the completed panorama was 1.3 gigapixels and trying to create the little planet effect caused my laptop to run out of RAM (and I have 20gb...). So this is the small version at "only" 42 megapixels!

Next on the list for this kind of shot is a 360 night sky one, location TBD.

Dave

I saw this earlier on 365project and thought it was one of the best of its type which I have seen to date. You deserve to do well with it.

Thanks :)
Considering getting it printed stupidly large, the source file is suitably big enough to support it. Though the central "distorted" bit might look distracting printed large.

Just thinking about this - the monotoned blue around the edge is an unavoidable artefact but I'm wondering about adding a gradient to it, to make it look less obvious. What do you think?
