#314 - Last Dregs

The end of a bottle of wine.

Seriously lacking in inspiration now, not long to go.

Still, it was interesting to play with this and bring out detail/textures.

Caught this in the underpass on the way to IMAX. Another day with no time for photography but it was still cool seeing how they've adorned the subway with art and changing colours.

This puts me in mind of Rut Blees Luxemburg's work. Apologies, but that is not a compliment so far as I am concerned, but others will disagree as she is far better known for her photography than I will ever be. If it helps, I think your effort is better than anything I have seen of hers. ;)

Sign of some kind of spooky sentience lurking in streetlights or just a convenient coincidence?

You decide!

Spooky. It would have been even better if it had happened on 31 October. ;)

Do you have any details of the circumstances in which it happened, or did you simply find it on the memory card?

Heh I don't mind if you dislike the image (or otherwise) but it's good to learn about another photographer anyway - what is it about her work you don't like. Looking at her very sparse site some of it I like, some I don't. She only seems to have three photos available that I can see though!

On days where I've not been able to get out at lunchtime for a walkabout, or don't have a plan for the evening, I've taken to carrying my camera at about chest height with multi zone AF set and I take snapshots as I go.

This particular shot came about as I was about to put the camera away - I started chimping the back screen walking towards London Bridge station and triggered the shutter by mistake. It's picked up reflections mixed with motion blur from one of the street lights near the bus station! That and the image of the face man who died making street lights, condemned forever to haunt accidental shots of light reflections :)
