And now for something different...

Postby Rose » Fri 26 Apr 2013, 17:17

I've experimented a few times with moving the camera or zooming the lens during a slow exposure. Today I used some wackily coloured flowers hubby brought home the other day. I took a whole series of shots, using several exposures and two different lenses. I like the abstract, impressionistric painterliness of the first one. What do you think ??

It is different and worth trying Rose. The first one appeals to me the most as it is more abstract. I am not sure about the blinds just visible even in the first image. I have downloaded the picture to see what I would have done and can post it if you want me to, but his is your vision so I hope you don't mind. ;)

Great idea, first shot works best for me - it abstracts your blinds a bit more and the shot is stronger for it. Nice one

Well I did have a little play with it. Here it is for what it's worth. Don't ask what I did, just blurred the outer edges and played around with blending modes sharpening etc. WDYT?
