I've experimented a few times with moving the camera or zooming the lens during a slow exposure. Today I used some wackily coloured flowers hubby brought home the other day. I took a whole series of shots, using several exposures and two different lenses. I like the abstract, impressionistric painterliness of the first one. What do you think ??
And now for something different...
Re: And now for something different...
It is different and worth trying Rose. The first one appeals to me the most as it is more abstract. I am not sure about the blinds just visible even in the first image. I have downloaded the picture to see what I would have done and can post it if you want me to, but his is your vision so I hope you don't mind.

Thanks Nina - feel free to have a play with it, I'll be interested to see what you come up with !

Great idea, first shot works best for me - it abstracts your blinds a bit more and the shot is stronger for it. Nice one

Well I did have a little play with it. Here it is for what it's worth. Don't ask what I did, just blurred the outer edges and played around with blending modes sharpening etc. WDYT?
