Hi David

I intrigued by the boys gaze and the out of focus foreground. What is distracting me is the metal plate (?) at the bottom. Is he collecting food, distributing it or having his lunch? It raises questions that take me away from a good portrait. Perhaps a crop just above the plate would improve things?? Ive just used the Windows cropping tool on my PC at work and found a square crop works for me. Hope this helps :)
