Rose

The section of the A22 with the Quarry Road junction is a dual carriageway, but looking at the Google satelite image of the area it looks as though you can turn right there when approaching from the south. You probably know the road well, but it would be best to remain in the right hand lane coming off the M25 roundabout as the junction is soon afterwards and there can be a lot of fast moving traffic in the outer lane. It is a two lane exit from the roundabout onto the A22, but it pays to watch out for anyone in the inside lane who is not turning left.

Sorry, Rose, I am not your size. ;)

I am going to wear a pair of walking trousers which should wash easily and an old jacket.

My camera will be my Canon G9.

I'm also planning to wear walking trousers and boots. Trouble is I don't have any old jackets... at least none small enough now LOL ;) The only old one I still have is four sizes too big   With the rain this weekend I suspect it'll be a bit muddy in places.

Hi

Rose if you are comming from the south. Just cross the roundabout and head north on the a22. About 30m from the rounder out there is a brake in the central resavation. So you can turn right in to Quarry road.

Ill have a look for a jacket for you.

Jase, Mike... After 3 days of rain I'm not convinced today is a good day for our trip ?

My mobile no is 07585 509 675 I'm in Hever today which has a very patchy signal but I'll check for messages when I can. Will be home by about 3
