Wondering if people printed their own prints? If so what printer do you use? If not which service do you use?

HI I use an Epson Stylus Photo R3000, it prints up to A3+ ( about17 "). Its a WiFi operated machine if necessary.

Hi

Mine is a Canon Pro 10S, I had an Epson 1400 which lasted about 10yrs but decided to Change to Canon which I bought last year after having to wait a long time for. I you are not going to do a reasonable amount of printing I would consider one of the printing firms.

Andy inquired about external printing
" If not which service do you use?"

More recently I have used Sim Lab
https://www.simlab.co.uk

https://www.simlab.co.uk/best-professional-photo-printing-uk

I have gone for images with their white border to ensure that I receive the whole image without marginal cropping.
I prefer the Fuji Crystal Archive range with a semi-matt finish rather than full gloss.

COSTS, for example 12 x 9 inches, 305 x 228mm is just £0.57 + VAT
https://www.simlab.co.uk/best-professional-photo-printing-uk
https://simimagingupload.livelinkprint.com/about/order.online.new

Shipping UK Mainland - Next working day £5.95+VAT. Receive next day if images sent before noon.

So 20 images including next day return postage and packing and VAT works out at ~£1 per image!

I am satisfied with SimLab's quality which you saw in the last 2 print competitions last week.
By the way I have tended to increase the brightness of my images marginally before sending them off.

Good Luck,
Iggy
