Earlier today, our club collected the entries for the first two rounds of the print competition to be held on 4 May. Different arrangements are necessary while Covid-19 restrictions are in place which means that the judging will be held online. After a quarantine period, the prints will be collated into the order in which they will be displayed, then taken to the judge (Darren Pullman). On the evening, the digital versions will be shown via Zoom but the judge will award scores based on seeing the actual prints. Afterwards, we will collect the prints from Darren and return them to members.

Hand in day serves another purpose as it is an opportunity for members to talk to each other in person after many months of online meetings.

The revised arrangements involve additional work for Emmanuel, our Competition Secretary. We all owe him thanks for his efforts to ensure that we can have print competitions this year.
