Welcome Edie and congratulations to the proud parents.

No photographs yet? Or is Dad too busy changing nappies and shopping on Amazon? ;)

Congrats to you both!

I found baby photography to be extremely hard but using cushions/pillows with sheets over them worked quite well and use sunny days with net curtains for good light. Oh and a reflector helps to.

Thanks all, as you can probably tell from the delayed response it's been a busy time :) So busy I haven't even begun to take many photos except Iphone snapshots!

However here is one I managed to get at the weekend. Planning on doing more on Friday if I can

Who'd a thunk it. How can someone so small possibly cause so much disruption? ;) Happy days. :D

Thanks for the picture of your beautiful daughter. It looks as though she has inherited Dad's hair colour.

Haha the hair colour is a question still to be resolved. In broad, direct daylight she's blonde, lighter than my wife. However when conditions are a little darker and if you view at a certain oblique angle I wonder if there's a tinge of ginge :)

Gorgeous!!!! Enjoy every minute, even the sleepless nights and dirty nappies because they don't last long.
All the best.

I'm hoping that we're seeing progress on the sleepless nights already, last night she slept through from 9pm to 4am! Astonishing!
Although my wife & I have a really good feeding routine that means most nights we get 7-8 hours sleep.

Trying to get more photos and practice newborn phoography but my wife isn't hugely keen on the "naked baby doing forced pose" shot so I'll stick to the more traditional ones.
