October 2018

I got up early one morning to visit Addington Hills to photograph the rising sun. It wasn't a particularly interesting sun-rise so I walked home taking pictures that caught my eye - Shirley Windmill, some fungi and something everyone will recognise!

October 2018 and Rebecca organised a walk around central Croydon, looking for images to populate the Club's Facebook page.

You'll recognise the view over Croydon - Mike Farley made it famous with his "Red Pipe".

NOVEMBER 2014

Mike Farley, Jay Kavner (a former member) and I did a photo-walk on the south bank of the Thames starting from London Bridge, through Borough Market, visiting Tate Modern, crossing the Millennium Bridge to St Pauls and eventual returning to London Bridge Station via London Bridge.

The first shot is of a replica of Frances Drake's ship "Golden Hind"

The second image is inside Tate Modern - "Shooting you, shooting me".

NOVEMBER 2013 and 2017

Some landmarks around central Croydon:

1. Old and new council offices - Taberner House and Bernard Weatherill House

2. The Water Tower in Park Hill Park

3. What remains of Essex House (opposite East Croydon Station and close to Croydon College) in 2017

NOVEMBER 2015

and no apologies for returning to the Bluebell Railway.

While the railway employs a number of people to fill important rolls to run it, much of the physical works is done by volunteers. Here's two shots of such a group, in one case using some the permanent way equipment (a Wickham trolly - a petrol driven vehicle)

Hi David,
Great set of diverse November images, some taken before I joined the CCC.
Wish I was in that Jungle now.
Thanks for being included.
All the best,
Iggy
