Monochrome Conversion In Lightroom

Professional photographer Kevin Mullins shows how he creates his monochrome images in Lightroom. The most interesting aspect is that he does not use Lightroom's "Black & White" controls. Instead he has a variety of techniques to set the tones the way he wants them and then simply desaturates the image to remove colour before making his final adjustments. His images have a very warm tone, the effect his clients want, which he achieves with the "Split Toning" function. Athough some of the comments at the start of the video relate to Fuji cameras, the techniques can be applied to any image.
