High Pass Sharpening Technique

I came across this on PetaPixel originally, but it seems to have since been pulled from there. Essentially it is a technique and free PS action which modifies the result by usinmg a luminosity mask.

There are a few other articles of interest from the author, Nino Batiste, for which there are links on his website. A word of warning as he is a glamour photographer - some might misinterpret your intentions for visiting his website. ;)
