Re: The Rise Of AI
Bear in mind that this is the first version and Skylum is already planning updates for version 2. Well you were not wrong about the updates, they released 1.0.0 (7348) but I have just reported an issue with it! It won't get pass the 80% mark in it's installation process. I think they should have in...

Re: The Rise Of AI
I have just downloaded my early subscriber copy of Luminar AI. Although I had received an e-mail a while back to let me know that the application would be available to early purchasers on 10 December, Skylum did not send out anything yesterday. With no instructions, I was left to my own devices on ...

Re: Canon 5D Eulogy
Thanks Mike, a very interesting read! I brought the Mkii in 2012, moving from the 20D it took awhile to adjust to the full frame perspective - I missed the 20D's APSC crop factor magnification/perspective change but soon realised that cropping in post gave the same results, happy ever since.

Re: POTW 1 November 2020 - Autumn Colours
Incidentally, there are trees which still retain some of their foliage as I noticed this morming when driving past the bottom of Breakneck Hill on Croham Hurst. I always thought it was Slesdon woods I was viewing from my back door (this assumption was based on, it was in the direction of Selsdon an...

Re: POTW 1 November 2020 - Autumn Colours
I am a big fan of backlit shots, this type of lighting adds mood and contrast, your picture captures that autumnal feel.
It seems to me that the leaves have had stayed on the trees for a longer period this year and in some cases taken their time in changing colour.

I liked the back light that broke through, highlighting the leaves

My macro lens would have rendered this better, as the largest of these were about 2cm
