Re: Goldcrest

Hi Tom The redwings and blackcaps are winter visitors so may have left now. We haven't seen any for a week or so. Another bird we have seen for the first time this year is the siskin. Re: Goldcrest

Wow Tom I'm jealous. We have seen a goldcrest in our garden a couple of times but they are so small and flighty and I didn't have my camera ready. I will have to be more observant and patient to try and capture an image of one. We've also seen them in Shirley Hills near the viewpoint. Have never see...

Re: Grebe

Hi Ron
Nice image. I think it is a great crested grebe. We saw some on South Norwood Lake on Mother's Day and they were doing their courtship dance. It was lovely to see but I didn't have my camera with me.
Hope we can all get out together very soon.
Keep well

I've resorted to taking photos of vegetables, but I hope you will agree this is a delicious looking specimen.

Rankin's 2020

A new series on Sky Arts Tuesday 29th September 8pm might be worth watching for those with Sky TV.
Rankin searches for some of the best photographers documenting our experiences of this weird year.

Re: Sunday Afternoon Tea Outing

Good to catch up in person with like minded friends. Light not great but here a couple of my efforts.
Kestrel is way too noisy but it was good to see.
