Digital SLR Photography magazine no more
Ive been a long time subscriber to Digital SLR Photography magazine and have recently received their last ever issue. To quote their letter " the past 12 months have been incredibly testing for print magazines and, try as we might, the decline in the market has bitten hard " I found their ...

Re: Computer problem
Probably more for Mike but you could try to open the .doc in Notepad on your Windows PC (dragging file into Notepad best way). It wouldnt keep any formatting or images within the doc but it may provide you with the bare text. If the doc only contained images then this method is a non-starter.

Paul's Photo of the Month
Im glad this idea has surfaced. Ive struggled to make any images for the last 6 months. The first lockdown with its better weather helped with some flower photography but Im really not that inspired in the current weather/frame of mind. However, our garden backs onto a large Oak which is home to 3 o...

Re: DAVID'S PHOTOS OF THE MONTH
Thanks for posting those Portsmouth shots, that brought back memories of a good day! I must have missed that statue about the Royal Tournament. I have good memories of visiting that event at Earls Court, that gun race was taken VERY seriously. I remember those involved often lost fingers in the race...

Re: Joe McNally BTS fun
Thanks for the post Andrew, I really enjoyed that video. To see how a top pro arranges his lighting and how each element is considered and tweaked gave a great insight and shows how much teamwork was involved also.

Fallen Petals
Todays breezy weather has removed alot of petals from one of our rose bushes. As Im quite bored (but still working) at home I thought I would give them a second life. I snipped off a stem and added to this petal arrangement and layed on some backing board I had with window light almost hitting board...

Re: Amateur Photographer Article
Sadly whoever Paul H is its not me :( I joined Photocrowd after a mention on this forum but does anyone know if you have to pay for the premium service to enter more than 1 competition? Didnt find the instructions for entering contests that clear, especially when its on behalf of other companies and...
