Although no date has been announced yet, a new photography programme is coming to BBC4 this year. There will be contestants facing weekly challenges and an overall winner but no one will be evicted from the show. Frank in action. Impressive use of the tripod. I did not bother at first but soon got mine from the car as even on a sunny day, I was getting settings higher than the base ISO 200 of my camera.

Frank and I spent an enjoyable, if rather chilly, afternoon yesterday photographing the bluebells at Staffhurst Wood. We stayed until the setting sun was no longer providing contrast of light and shade on the ground. The bluebells were putting on a good display and photos will follow in due course. ...
