Re: Shot of the Week 2019 – Iggy – March
I was fortunate that the red setters, taller than me on their hind legs, didn't jump on me after pelting down hill at speed as they would have knocked me over. SOTW 2019-Iggy-March S9 Orchid at Kew Gardens Visited Kew Gardens as David Beard's guest. Had a great day out. Thank you David! PS: With the Kew Orchid Celebration, the displays looked great, but the orchids were tightly packed. Finding an orchid with leaves in a complementary position was hard. He...

Laura's SOTW week 9

A belated entry for week 8, taken on Feb 23rd in Kelsey Park. I spent some time watching a couple of Egyptian geese on a fallen tree by the lake - it was beautiful light around 4:30pm

A little more street photography, courtesy of my lovely wife agreeing to divert to Farthing Downs after puppy school earlier today, to check out the misty views. Ricoh GRII. Exquisite, I really love what you have done to the tulip. It makes it look a bit like a flower from Mars
but in a pleasing, intriguing sort of way

Re: Shot of the Week 2019 – Iggy – February
I do like the way that the cone contains the right hand side of the image and brings it all together. The cone was framed into the image and then everything played out beyond expectation as I did half a dozen shots of the junction. One has to make ones own luck! Iggy I really like that cone too, yo...
