Re: Portsmouth outing

Mary Rose in its new setting since 2016. I havent seen it before but thought it was impressive. Plenty of artifacts were found in the wreck which are shown throughout. They also project film onto the different decks giving you a flavour of what happened in each area. The light levels were very low h...

Portsmouth outing

Hello All Firstly, a big thankyou to Sarah for posting this idea on the forum. We were also joined by David on the trip and we all managed to enjoy our day out despite the wind and rain. Here are a few from the day including a rather old boat in need of repair named after our Chairman (insert approp...

Re: PP: Porthsmouth 27 Jan

Sorry Sarah. I waited for a while at dockyard entrance but was raining so made way to station and caught the 16:29. Enjoyed the day though and we should post some images on the photo sharing section.

I believe that it was Chris who stated that he could not go.

I will also be purchasing the Historic Dockyard all attraction ticket as well. Its valid for a year so will no doubt return at some...

Re: PP: Porthsmouth 27 Jan

Thanks for all the info Sarah. Im interested in coming along but would probably prefer the 0834 train to give more daylight whilst there. I also have a Gold Card which gives 1/3 off for upto 4 adults if this helps other members.

Re: Photo and pub

I'm available that day so interested in some of these options. Happy to head to south coast for a potential sunset, providing there's subjects for the day time as well.

Re: Last Night's Judge - What Did You Think?

Having missed the first half I may not be fully qualified to judge a judge but here goes... I dont mind if a judges scoring is harsh or generous as long as they apply that consistently throughout the night. After a few scores you can sometimes get in the judges head and half-guess what they will sco...
