Decades ago, as first auto exposure and then autofocus became mainstream in cameras, there was an idea that soon there would be a feature indicating to the user when a good composition was visible in the viewfinder. It seemed fanciful back then. Now I am not so sure. This report from PetaPixel suggests that Canon might be on the verge of introducing an AI powered camera which will take photos without any human intervention.

This camera will soon be reality. Canon opting for crowd sourced funding seems odd. Whatever the reason, it has been a successful campaign.
