Croydon What's On

Croydon PrideFest

I attended Croydon PrideFest at Wandle Park, having missed the parade through the town centre.
I stayed long enough to get enough images for a write up for Croydon Advertiser that appeared last Friday.
CA are due to send me a PDF of the feature and will then replace image below.

Congratulation on images in the Croydon Advertiser :D

I went PrideFest a couple of years ago at Queen's Gardens in Central Croydon. I didn't realise that it had moved to Wandle Park.

Thanks Frank.
The intention was to get a number of close range head and shoulder portraits.
However at Wandle Park, the back drop of cloudy sky or patchy greenery was not really conducive to good portraits.
Any way, I did enough to get the story in the bag which was the main aim.
I will probably try Central London next year, where hopefully I should get interesting subjects and a good backdrop.

Croydon Street Live - BMX Bikes & More

Following our photo shoot at Street Live in Croydon a couple of weeks ago with Frank, I have still not taken a close look at all the images I shot. Perhaps I never will.
I did however very quickly pull out the 4 images that I had taken purposefully for the Croydon Advertiser feature below, where they used 3 images.
CA sent me the PDF.
