All

I have now paid the deposits covering 10 rooms, details below, including a spare. So for single occupancy its £25 and doubles are £50. This amount will be taken off each room during our visit and then you will pay for the accommodation and any evening meals & extra drinks you charge to your room.

Ive chosen to pay now as it allows at least a month before I have to pay my credit card bill off. If anyone has a PayPal account you can send the money to me that way (PM me for my email address). Otherwise a cheque or cash will do over the next month.

    myself
    Mike & wife
    Tina & Hub
    Keith
    Graham Cluer & wife
    Tom Sherrin
    Wally & Hillary
    Jay
    Nina
    spare

Finally, I have said I will contact them in October to confirm any changes that occur in the meantime i.e. partners not coming or cancellations etc and they seem very flexible on this point.

Any questions please ask.

Thank you Paul!

Glad you remembered me even though I am in the last place. :D

Let me know when you want the deposit.

Hi Paul

I am really interested in this trip but still not sure whether I will be able to make those dates as I have a lot happening around that time. If possible, please could you bear me in mind as a possible last minute addition. Thanks. Ros

There is a spare room still available so will put you down as a potential. Hopefully you will be able to confirm a few weeks before the date? Just trying to ensure that if you cannot make it someone else may want to take the room.

As a reminder to all we still have 1 room left for this trip. Therefore anyone who would like to come along please contact me to reserve your spot.

I have ordered colourful sunrises and golden autumnal scenery as well :D

I will be giving the hotel the final room details this Friday, therefore anyone undecided about the trip has until this Friday to decide. If Im not contacted by then I will get hotel to cancel booking for remaining room.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the hotel on Friday. As I am unlikely to be able to make the club meeting this week do we have a meet-up place/time?

Hi Graham (and others)

We dont have any specific plans laid out. Hopefully some people will arrive early enough to take a few images before sunset. Bamford Edge which is the ridge right above the hotel looks to be a good spot for sunset (weather permitting). Other locations that are very close to the hotel are Ladybower Reservoir (a 5 minute walk from hotel) and a 5 min drive away there is Derwent Water Reservoir. I will be handing out photocopies of pages from my guidebook covering the park tonight and will bring the spare copies this weekend.
