Tom is correct. We do not have the numbers so I have cancelled the provisional booking. It is a shame as it would have been something different and an unusual photographic opportunity, but that is the way it goes sometimes. *

I set the date for the outing according to availability of the brewery tour but it has become apparent that this is not convenient for everyone who would like to go. I will e-mail everyone who has expressed an interest to see whether a different date would be better. I am thinking about 17 May but this is not set in stone.

* I will spare anyone else from having to make the inevitable comment. Clearly, I cannot organise a p***-up in a brewery.

Following the discussion at the club meeting on 6 April, the outing will now be on 17 May. The brewery tour will not go ahead, having been tantalisingly shy of the required number to make it viable. I will devise an itinerary and post the details here in due course.
