Postby Laura » Wed 06 Feb 2019, 10:48

Tiny worlds always amaze me - wish I were an ant sometimes ! And even that would look huge here....

Taken Feb 2nd - for week 5

An intriguing shot, Laura.

Was the lighting that colour when you took it or did you alter it afterwards to get the effect you wanted?

Hi Laura,
Nice perspective on the normally unseen World of Moss.
Reflections in water drops on the stalks add interest.

The lighting was pretty much that colour, as the white balance is exactly as shot - but I did increase the vibrance in Lightroom, and decreased the saturation a fraction. I often use the single colour channels but not on this occasion....

Thank you Iggy, I could spend a log time looking at these things through the lens - you do end up seeing the unseen. ;)

Taken during week six, almost as moody as I was feeling!
It is an in-camera effect I quite like, dramatic.
