Many thanks to Emmanuel for providing quite a very well-thought out introduction to the merits of studio lighting. Here's a few images I took at the workshop last night.
Looking forward to seeing some really excellent images.

Re: Emmanuel's Portrait lighting Workshop with Tamyka
Hi, Graham thank you for posting.
I am glad that something fruitful was picked up during the workshop yesterday,
this is the first shot of the session. I did not manage to grab manny images however happy with the few I got.
Hope everybody else is.

Well done Emmanuel for arranging an eventful evening. I'm sure that in the end most got a few pictures that they can be pleased with. I attach a few of mine.

Tom

Here are some of my images from the evening.

Hi Emmanuel,
Thank you very much for setting up the Portrait lighting Workshop that I rather enjoyed.
Some rather nice images already posted.
I will sort out a couple of images soon.
Best wishes,
Iggy

Emmanuel demonstrates the use of a reflector.
Re: Emmanuel's Portrait lighting Workshop with Tamyka
On looking at my images on the computer screen at home, I could see that I had quite a few issues from focusing, to skin tone, to lighting.
I have tried to adjust these in Photoshop without too much success.
Hopefully I will be able to work on the raw images in Lightroom. eg I would like to put a mask on the lady in image 3 and get rid of the crushes in the white background on the right!
Anyway here goes with the images.

Re: Emmanuel's Portrait lighting Workshop with Tamyka
May I add my vote of thanks (albeit belated) to Emmanuel for a very well thought out evening. I haven't gone through my pics yet, hopefully in the next few days or so. I thought I would post this one that I took on my phone (no adjustments) while it's soft and noisy I like the atmosphere it conveys.
I know that Ron says Smart phones are not cameras, I would disagree! While they don't have the range and features of the DSLR's and CSC. They have displaced the traditional point and shoot cameras as the beginners camera of choice, this was taken in the prelude to the shoot, where Emmanuel was demonstrating the use of the reflector.
