New year beer photography outing

Postby Sarahrs » Thu 07 Dec 2017, 18:34

Yes I know an odd title, but inspired by a blog I read. but essentially
An outing to take photographs
We finish in a pub for a drink.

Questions:
Interested?
Do any of the following dates work: 30 December, 31 December, 1 January, 2 January?
Suggestions on locations: thought Whitstable, Eastbourne for sea. Welcome countryside/forest suggestions.

Hi Sarah
Sounds like a great idea, but I will be in Norfolk on those dates.
Any other time I’m interested.

Did someone say beer?

I might be interested but it will depend on what else is happening on the chosen date, although I definitely cannot make 2 Jan. As Tina says, maybe schedule it for a bit later when we are more in need of a pickmeup?

On the basis beer is involved, somewhere easily reached by train would be a good choice of location. Eastbourne fits the bill as is on the Southern Railway network, Whitstable does not as it requires a trip into London in order to transfer to a South East region train. Given that the shambolic railways run even less well over the holiday period, that is another reason for delaying until what passes as "normal" is fully back up and running again.

Hi Sarah,

The idea is a lovely one (personally I'll be going for G&T not beer!), but agree that the dates are a bit tricky, especially with the trains running less often over the holiday period. When else could we organise this for?
Eastbourne sounds good. Equally, would somewhere up in town suit?
