This is a subject which I have tackled before and to which I returned while trying out a new camera. When processing the image over the past few days, I liked the contrast between the blue of the building and the red pipe, but was having problems with the bland sky. Eventually a square crop to remove most of the sky seemed to be the best solution as it places greater emphasis on the building and the pipe.
Incidentally, this building was quite grubby when I photographed it last year. The recent rainfall has done wonders in cleaning it up.

That is a winning shot indeed. The addition of the pipe really adds an extra element to it.

Thanks for the kind comments, Paul. I did boost the red using Lightroom's extensive colour controls, but the red effect was there as shot.
