Wish I was there. Lovely and deserted.
Oh to get my legs in the sea!
I do like image 3 best with that foreground puddle.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing, Keith. That deserted building looks impressively dilapidated. Whereabouts is it? Your website looks interesting. Good luck with it.

I holidayed on the Isle of Sheppy when I was a youngster (oh, those were the days!). If I remember rightly it was a bleak place and the chalet we stayed in was small. But it got us out of London!
We had relatives who ran a farm close to Leydowns. (Several years later they moved to a farm across the valley from Biggin Hill Airport.)
I haven't returned to IofS since my childhood but I would like to visit Sheerness. Hence no photographs!

I missed it first time around but the BBC is repeating Countryfile which features Elmley Nature Reserve on the Isle of Sheppy.
The time may not be ideal but …
Sunday 14 June at 7:05am
and again at
Tuesday 16 June at 00:30am
At least they don't conflict with CCC virtual meetings.

They should also be available on Iplayer for a while after the first broadcast on Sunday.
