S45 - The Race - London to Brighton Veterans Car Rally

Some 400 veteran cars trundled along London Road, Norbury last Sunday morning from 7.20 am until around 10 am.
I got there on time to cheer on the drivers & passengers that were taking part in Bonhams London to Brighton Veterans Car Rally.
Luckily it was a lovely sunny morning.
One car did have to stop due to overheating which offered more photographic opportunities.

For this shot, I did have to step out onto the road momentarily to get what I was looking for.
I like the image but I guess the bright sky is a distraction.
What do I do? Darken it down? Clone it out? Crop it some?

" what do I do? Darken it down? Clone it out? Crop it some?". I would go for a hard crop! Focus all the attention on the cars and occupants

Thanks Frank for all the suggestions which you kindly followed up by working on the image and sending a tutorial by email.
Much appreciated.
I have not yet had time to follow on with it.
So in the meantime, I hope you don't mind me putting up the image that you quickly worked on.

S46 - Tiger on the Loose?

Perhaps. Actually, not really.
David B kindly treated me to a day at the zoo.
I trusted my natural instinct and ran to the spot where I thought that the tiger might appear.
Got there just in time!
Still some work to do on the image but time is my enemy.
So I am putting it out now and might hopefully have a finished image before November runs out.

S48-I shot the Sheriff ..........

But he shot me too!

I took the opportunity to attend the Asian Curry awards accompanying the group from Curry Leaf Restaurant, Old Coulsdon.
I went as their photographer via the Caterham Independent local paper at very short notice. Too good to say no.
Included nice food and a few drinks!

Curry Leaf was commended (2nd place) in the London Suburbs Class, which they were very happy with.
But they went even better when their chef, Fardous Ahmed Bablou, won Chef of the Year - London Suburbs.

I had a chat with a professional photographer and had a little bit of fun too!!

A great experience.
