Chinatown

I went to see the Sebastian Salgado exhibition at Beetles and Huxley today and then went on to Chinatown in Soho as it was getting dark for a bit of night time photography. Perfect conditions to shoot a fast lens wide open to throw the subject into relief against an out of focus background. Here are a couple of preliminary shots, both of which require a bit more work - mainly to reduce some distracting highlights.

The subjects certainly stand out from the background. There are a lot of hot spots in the background which, presumably, you will deal with in post-production.

The three gents in the first pic seem to be having a good time :)
