I have been thinking about the original version of this shot, the harshness of which was troubling me. As a result, I have tried a different approach and moved the Clarity slider a long way to the left into negative figures during the Raw conversion. For me, this softer version is working better and is more in line wityh what I envisioned when I took the shot.
