The left-over residue from a Kopi-C - a local coffee that's super-strong and super-sweet! Even when you ask for Kopi-C Kosong (without extra sugar) the evaporated milk it's made with is astonishingly potent. Rocket fuel in a cup!

Before I learned the lingo fully I did accidentally ask for a Kopi-C Sotong, once. That got me a funny look and a laugh - Sotong is squid in Malay

The weather determined my shot today as I needed fluffy white clouds rolling by with blue skies. So headed into work early and took the below image at the base of Tower 42 previously the NatWest Tower. The long exposure shot was taken with a polariser to give better contrast to the sky and glass plus a B&W 10 stopper filter. Was shot at F8, 24s at ISO 100. Had to clone out surrounding buildings, increase levels, plenty of dodging and conversion to B&W.

My entry for today, spotted in Borough Market during the outing with David and Jay.
Ideally I would have preferred the out of focus hand not to be there, but the main face is so strong I opted to go with the shot.

This is my alternative shot for today, a portrait of a young woman who was handing out leaflets to publicise an exhibition next to the Tate Modern. Her boyfriend is a photographer, so she is well used to having her picture taken. It seems like today is a people day for my images in this project.
This is a straight shot. I did my best to avoid the clutter in the background, but it does need some tidying up.

Many thanks to David and Mike for a lovely day around London Bridge and Tate Modern.
This was a reflection of the city skyline. It actually looked clearer than the real opposite the river.
There is minimal editing other than minor cropping and turning it B&W.

On reflection, I was not certain that including the out of focus person on the left of my main image was really working, so I have cropped it out and done a bit of cloning on the area I needed to leave in to ensure the image did not become too unbalanced.
