BLUEBELL RAILWAY 1 - Thingamajig

Postby davidb » Tue 03 Nov 2015, 01:55

Taken at the Bluebell Railway at their Giants of Steam event in 2015.

This what-d'you-call-it attached to a locomotive that caught my eye. I liked the textures and the colours but would a judge?

I think it's the kind of club image that would polarise judges, some would love it but others would complain it's "just a record shot" :)

I suspect this would look great in mono as it has an interesting shape and textures.

Here's the mono version. I do prefer colour to monochrome so I might try both versions in combo this year.

Personally I prefer the colour version and while I quite like it, I am not sure that it has got enough oomph to hold the attention for long.

It does have to hold the attention long - just long enough to score it 12
