This is what is proposed for next Wednesday 23rd April:
Meet up between 5:45 and 6:00 at Aldgate East Tube station exit 3 outside Whitechapel Gallery.
Walk up Brick Lane, any latecommers will probably find us in the area snapping away.
Reassemble outside Kinkao Restaurant from 7:30 to 7:45

Those interested can join us for a Thai meal others may want to take some more pictures.
Mike has posted an interesting summary on Low Light Street Photography here:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=953 You may find it helpful.
Look forward to seeing you there. In the event of inclement weather it is proposed that we go ahead with the Clubhouse meeting. In that case bring some prints and be prepared to tell us something about what you like to photograph and why.
PS
If you are interested in the meal please respond, so table can be booked, Thanks

If anyone will be arriving after the official start time and wants to find out what is happening when they get to Brick Lane, drop me a message via the forum and I will let you have my mobile phone number.

Hi Nina,
This is just to confirm that I'll be there and if the Thai meal is still on, then please count me in.

Hi Nina
Apologies for the late response, but I have only just seen the bit at the end of your post where you were asking for people to confirm for the restaurant booking. Barring anything unforeseen, I am looking forward to being at this evening's meeting.

Me too!
I had also missed the bit about wanting a reply. I intend to be there and will join you for a meal.

Re: Next Wednesday 23rd April
A very enjoyable evening. An outing with friends to take photographs followed by a meal, what could be a better social occasion? Many thanks to Nina for organising this excursion.

Three of our group.
Frank was still on his phone call and Bill was employing a stealthy approach to street photography by keeping his camera out of sight. Meanwhile, Eric appears to have grown a third leg. Or is it a new form of tripod?

There must have been something good to photograph here, which I was too busy photographing Frank and Wally to spot.
