Annual Club Dinner

Postby Mike Farley » Thu 04 Oct 2012, 13:40

Two restaurants, both of which have been operating for many years in the South Croydon "Restaurant Quarter" have been shortlisted as the venue for the annual Club Dinner on 24 November.

  • Bagatti's
  • Galicia
Bagatti's' Xmas menu can be viewd on its website - http://www.bagattis.com/downloads/Xmas2012.pdf. The Galicia's website is currently down for "extended maintenance", so a copy of its menu is included with this post.

Chris Davies is organising the dinner and will update this thread in the next few days. In the meantime, club members are requested to respond to the poll included with this thread to ascertain likely numbers and restaurant preference. The Galicia has two sections in its restaurant, which we might be able to occupy exclusively if we have sufficient numbers.

UPDATE: You must be logged on to participate in the poll.

We've been in Croydon for nearly 4 years now and only just tried Galicia a month ago, can't believe we'd missed out for so long :)

I can recommend their weekday lunchtime deal, £7-95 for two tapas and a glass of wine or cup of coffee. And unlike some other places, their portions are very generous.

My choice is Galicia, as my wife and I prefer spainish to italian. And hopefully Galicia wins.

Hi,

We are more than happy to give Galicia a try - therefore please put me down for 2 places. And generous portions certainly work for me :D
