Thanks for the update Frank and presume you are okay with hiring & driving another vehicle on the 24th-28th. I will go ahead shortly with arranging my own travel and see the rest of the members on the Monday & Tuesday we are together. Great work on that spreadsheet by the way :D

Hi Paul and others, following our discussion on Weds, I have a commitment on the 22nd so can't go out on that date, I looked at flying up on the Sunday to join you for the 3 days but they don't have an early morning flight so we wouldn't get there until 5pm :(
So I'm sticking with the original dates 24th - 28th, we will join you on the Monday, as you said this will then give us 2 vehicles (I will be driving) and therefore more choice of where we go on the island.

Thanks Paul, yes I'm happy to hire and drive for the period. I guess we will both need a steer from the other members so we hire appropriately sized vehicles.
So for those of you still interested in going to Skye please can you confirm dates and let us know so we can get the vehicles booked. Thanks

Hi All
After much deliberation we have decided to stick with the 24th - 28th dates for Skye.
Will there be room for Graham and I with you Frank?
Have you booked flights and hotel yet and if so what are your plans so we can do the same.
Many thanks

Hi Tina and others, yes there is room, I will be hiring a 6 seater or similar to the one Paul reccomended, seats allocated on a first come basis

I have booked the hotel (ack below) bed and breakfast for Bridge and I, we used booking.com:

Your booking in Portree is confirmed.
Cuillin Hills Hotel is expecting you on 24 February
Your payment will be handled by Cuillin Hills Hotel. The 'Payment' section below has more details
You can cancel for FREE until 18 February 2020 23:59 [Portree].

I have not booked the flights yet , according to Martin Liews the best time to book EasyJet tickets is 5 weeks before you need to travel (this will supposedly get you the best price. But I have to say the price that Paul posted has been the best !
The outbound has remained the same but the return has steadily been increasing, again I was using the suggested times that Paul put forward. for both outbound and ret. Out
7.50am arrive 9.40am and Ret 16:00 arrive 17:35. The current Ret price has shot up to £57.99! There is a later flight 19:10 arrives 20:50 costing £7.99. If my nerves can take it I am looking to book on the 27th. Let me know your thoughts we are flexible and will go with the majority!

Hi Frank
I’m inclined to book flights and hotel now, coming back on the later flight 19.10 for £7.99. If it’s still the same.
Just in case it’s all fully booked later on.
What do you think?
