You are invited to a Presentation
by Slawek Staszczuk
LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY IS SIMPLE
Wednesday, 6 February 2019, 7.45pm for 8.00pm until 10.00pm
at: The Salvation Army, Booth Way, Horsham RH13 5PZ
Horsham Photographic Society has secured the renowned guest speaker, Slawek Staszczuk, and we are happy to share with you the opportunity to see him.
Slawek is a Polish-born photographer based in Brighton who specialises in landscape. His imagery has been published in numerous magazines and used in brochures, advertisements and websites.
He will present diverse examples of his work, comment extensively on the techniques used and hurdles he had to overcome to get specific photos, and talk us through the "creative process".
Although his passion for photography evolved from his work with computer graphics, his approach is traditional. He strives to keep any post-production to a minimum and to perform most of the work in the field, before pressing the shutter release button. He relies on capturing the natural available light in those rare moments when everyday scenes are transformed into something out of the ordinary.
Parking and seating is limited and we recommend you reserve a seat.
A £10 charge is payable on the evening.
We are only able to accept cash or cheque.
Please go to our website for booking details: http://www.horshamphotographicsociety.co.uk or contact Anne David on 01403 891126.
