Thanks for the shots, Rose. It looks as though Bristol is a good place to spend at least a day.

Looking at the two hotel locations, Bristol is the more central and offers a lot of options. Depending on what parking is like in town, It might be easier just to jump on a bus from the hotel rather than drive 50 minutes from Wells and then contend with the Park and Ride. Especially on the Saturday, although as the Park and Ride does not operate on Sundays that might be a better day for Bristol. The Mendips are to the south for landscape work and Bath is not too far away. There is also the possibility of Clevedon and its pier, although what the tides are doing might be a factor in getting a decent shot.
Regards

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

So it looks like there is interest in Bristol. So Bristol south is the winner.

So just to confirm the proposed dates are:
Arrive Friday 13 April and leave Monday 16 April staying at Priemier Inn Bristol South.

Please do post in the forum whether you’ve coming along so we can keep track of numbers.

Thanks

Hi Sarah,

Have you decided when you will be booking the hotel? I'm happy with the Bristol South Premier Inn location.

I checked the price it seems reasonable for the Friday 13th April for 3 nights:

Flex £195.00
Amend or cancel up to 1pm on the day

Saver £141.50
Our lowest prices. No amends or refunds.

Thanks
Keith

Hi Keith,

As it a priemer inn I’m expecting everyone to book their own accommodation.

I’ve book mine this evening while the prices are still good.
